What's this about the king treating his cancer withe herbs?

[–] DessertStorms@kbin.social 53 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (4 children)

Charles is a long time advocate for homeopathy, even appointed a homeopath as head royal doctor.

Homeopathy is not "herbs", though. Compared to homeopathy, herbs as a medication would have seemed lika a sane choice. At least herbs actually do have some medically relevant substances in them sometimes. Probably not the ones you need to treat cancer, but still, a hell of a lot more than the literally nothing that homeopathy brings to the table.

Lies. Homeopathy gets you a well hydrated corpse.

You asked what it was about, and I told you.. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You dropped this: \

That isn't treating it with herbs. That's treating it with sugar pills.

[–] ColeSloth@discuss.tchncs.de 19 points 1 year ago

*Plain water that was touched by a grain of sugar five vials back. But don't worry. The water remembers it.

Well, nice knowing him.

Or the missing princess of Wales? There’s a lot to unpack here.

[–] klemptor@startrek.website 31 points 1 year ago (1 children)

There's some conspiracy theory that something has happened to Kate Middleton because she had abdominal surgery earlier this year and hasn't been seen in public for a little while, and a poorly photoshopped image of her with her kids was recently shared.

[–] frickineh@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

My guess is that she had a hysterectomy and has been recovering, but people are getting wild with the conspiracy theories.

[–] ZagamTheVile@lemmy.world 10 points 1 year ago

That's not even a good conspiracy theory. That sounds like a bunch of amateur crap. They need to step their game up. We have people believing JFK is coming back to claim the presidency.
