Woot woot, got called for an interview for a PTjob that's much more in line with how I want to spend my time! Not the most uplifting role, but it's so PT that I'll have plenty of time/energy to pursue side gigs/temp/other roles. If I negotiate the wage right it will neatly cover my rent and all utilities, health insurance for just 2 days of work. This greatly pleases my brain that hates being tied down and loves variety, but also craves basic stability. Have one job to keep the lights on and a roof over my head, and a mix of other things for the rest of the week for everything else.
I've already got another job I'm gonna apply for which would fill in the other days for a few months.
Gosh I really hope it plays out that I get away with mixing and matching and don't burn out again because I often feel thoroughly depressed thinking about how my working style really doesn't fit in with most roles.
Nice one! I hope it ends up working out the way you want โญ
sending so much good luck your way ๐๐๐
Good luck! Sounds like that would be the perfect balance
Thank you, it sounds sad but being able to work part time is something I've looked forward to ever since getting residency.
It took me far too long to realise PT = part time and not personal trainer or public transport
Good on you though J_K, super happy for you!
I'd love to afford a personal trainer, my fitness is atrocious haha. Thank you, let's hope in a couple weeks I can say I got the job
