Potatoes aren't known for their thick skin.

Fascists, on the other hand are renowned for adoring heavy-handed authoritarian intervention as they bleat about freedom - but only insofar as it can be weaponised against those they don't like and used to protect themselves and ther fragile egos.

I'm not so certain. Abbott was the same, but the relentless attack politics resonated with older Australians.

abbot was viewed as a tolerable kinda village idiot. Dutton is viewed as a hairless hitler and a cunt to boot.
