I'm getting really tired of my food expiring before I make anything with it, and I want to quit buying anything that can't be frozen or last several months in the cupboard.

Chilli con carne:

  • chuck frozen mince in a pot with some oil & spices
  • chuck in a tin of chopped tomatos
  • chuck in some frozen veg
  • chuck in some tomato puree
  • chuck in more spices
  • simmer for like 15-20 minutes
  • eat (with tortilla chips / rice / cheese / etc)

That sounds great! I'll definitely try that. Thanks for the suggestion!
