Next person who tells me "you can make it!" on my afternoon stroll around the neighborhood, because I'm young and use mobility aids, is getting a whack from said mobility aids. I'm not your inspiration porn.
Dude I'm 46 and run semi regularly. Every time someone on their driveway says something I want to jog up smack them and keep running.
Sorry, "every time"?
I find that so odd, like how often does it happen, and what do people say?
Not every time but over 50%. It is weird. Small town behavior?
Ah, small town, makes sense.
Lmao at my last race a random teenager was all like "FINISH STRONG" as I was slowing down happy it was nearly over. Don't say that to folks high on adrenaline and wondering why they signed up for this please.
