Not a direct reference to your post, but a bug, and I have no idea who to talk about the bug here. Guess I should call @dgerard. But in the video preview here on awful.systems it says "

So awful systems eats the end of lines and this messes up the url.
Edit: any way to tell awfulsystems not to make links out of posted links? I did manage to basically /dev/null the wrong one E:fixed
Maybe wrap the stuff that gets autolinked in code blocks?

the Lemmy code appears to eat line endings, I think @self is looking into it
version 0.19 of Lemmy is shaping up to include a gigantic list of changes so I’m waiting for it to reach stable before I write more fixes, but low hanging fruit like this is definitely on my list of stuff to fix if the Lemmy devs don’t
