The GOP congresswoman has accused trans people and drag queens of "grooming" and "sexualiz[ing]" children

Rep. Lauren Boebert has been outspoken about her disapproval of drag queens, but that didn’t stop the Colorado congresswoman from spending hundreds of campaign dollars at a bar that hosts drag shows.

According to Politico, which cited her latest Federal Election Commission filings, Boebert’s campaign spent $317.48 in July for “event catering” at Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen, Co., which is owned by Boebert’s former boyfriend, Quinn Gallagher. Boebert and Gallagher were booted from a performance of Beetlejuice last month for disruptive conduct, including vaping, loud singing and fondling each other at the family-friendly production. Boebert later said she and Gallagher, a Democrat, had broken up. “All future date nights have been canceled. I learned to check party affiliations before you go on a date,” Boebert told TMZ.

That's the "fondling each other" part that got them booted from said musical

She took her boebs out in front of kids, dude. How much clearer does it need to get?

[–] Nightwingdragon@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (2 children)

When? I've never heard of this happening. I heard about her husband whipping it out, but not her.

Among other misbehavior at a performance of Beetlejuice the musical, she and her date groped each other within site of children at the show. He fondled her breasts (some say that they appear to be out on the video but I can't tell) while she gives him a handy through his pants. The video is at the link above.

At no point did she "whip out her boobs" or anything else. What they did was bad enough, but she did not expose herself or her date. If she had exposed herself, the footage would not be freely shown on TV and would be censored on the internet, along with providing video evidence that would put them both on a sex offender registry.

I said boebs not boobs in the original comment.

Also just put of curiousity do you believe that Congresswoman Lauren Boebert was never prostitute.

[–] Nightwingdragon@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That story has been debunked by several sources.

https://krdo.com/news/2022/06/16/a-look-at-the-group-accusing-rep-lauren-boebert-of-working-as-an-escort-and-having-abortions/

https://www.cnn.com/2022/06/25/politics/fact-check-super-pac-lauren-boebert-escort-abortion-sugar-daddy/index.html

The closest she ever came to that was her failed stint as a model. And even then, the most those pictures show is that she seems to have that "holier than thou cunt" look permanently etched on her face.

From your own source.

That statement is not case-closed evidence that Boebert was never on that site or some other such site. (The representative of the site, which connects “successful” men with “young and aspiring” women, would identify themselves only as “Alice” and would not respond to follow-up questions.) But the super PAC has so far released no evidence to contradict the statement.

So Boebert claimed she never did and the site can't concretely confirm she didn't.

My questions stands, do YOU believe she wasn't a prostitute.

[–] Nightwingdragon@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I would suggest re-reading the article instead of taking cherry-picked sentences out of context.

The source of this information has already admitted that his own source made multiple errors, including incorrectly identifying a picture of another woman as being that of Boebert, and that they've "seen" the rest of the evidence but just can't provide it, putting it right in the category of "Really, I have a girlfriend. You just don't know her. She goes to another school. In Canada."

She does not, to my knowledge, have a criminal record with arrests for prostitution. Sources that have come forward with those allegations have been repeatedly debunked, and absolutely nobody has come forward with actual, credible evidence. So, no, I do not believe she was ever a prostitute or actually engaged in the sex work industry, nor is there any evidence to the contrary.

Just because I don't like somebody doesn't mean it's OK to fling false accusations about them. She's been a public figure and a prominent member of the Republican house for over 3 years now. And let's be realistic. Boebert is an incredibly attractive woman with huge boobs. If there were any credible evidence of her working on that site or any other, don't you think someone would have found it by now and spread pictures of her naked everywhere? Don't you think at least one of her customers would have come forward by now to share their story?

[–] Wilibus@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I'm not asking you demonstrate or provide evidence one way or the other. I am asking if you believe she was never a prostitute.

I just demonstrated how your source was pretty flawed and exists in that grey area where we can't say for sure she was and need to give her the benefit of the doubt that she claims she wasn't.

Don't worry though, your inability to answer a simple question actually answered it for me.

You think they censor boobs on the Internet?
