There is absolutely no proof that these people are ICE, or any other agents of the state. Do not assume masked strangers throwing people in vehicles are law enforcement. Especially if they don't identify themselves.

We all need to stop making this assumption, and to start encouraging others to also not make this assumption.

My favorite so far is the people who follow these fuckers around with megaphones and broadcast the rights people have when dealing with ICE, numbers of local lawyers and advocates, and other instructions to help people either avoid the interaction or at least have a fighting chance to due process if they are detained.

What would be better is if, when people were being kidnapped by these brownshirts-at-home, the bystanders started beating these kidnappers to a bloody, gelatinous pulp. That way, the street sweepers could come and gently push their mouldering viscera where they belong: the gutter.

Remember: there is no evidence that these people have the force of law behind them. Citizens should not allow others to be kidnapped in broad daylight.

Absolutely. Numbers have power too. If you happen to be around when this happens do not let the eyes of those around you turn the other way.

Everyone is waiting for someone to say something. But no one has said anything so we all think "well, I guess I don't know the whole story because no one ELSE is doing anything". It's quite a well documented human group behavior.

You need to be that first voice. You need to shake everyone else out of that thought. Because you know exactly what it is. It's scary to be that first or second person to speak up.

But another well documented human behavior is that when someone goes to help, others join in, they get shaken out of their "freeze" and decide to fight.

Our society isn't broken enough yet for people not to care when someone is being kidnapped. They just need you to call it what it is.

Just keep calling "ICE" liars. If they try to say they are federal agents just keep saying they are lying. Do everything to delay until you have enough support to make them feel afraid. Again, they are Nazis. They are not brave. They are scared little losers. Don't let them feel safe to get out of their black vans.

One big worry is that if I fight these bastards, the Democrat-backed apparatus would arrest me for being in the wrong. I don't want to get into a fight since I am poor and have no friends...but hopefully I have the guts to get involved, if my neighbors start being rounded up.

Part of the reason why ICE can do what it does, is because establishment politicians are not willing to support the concept of antifa. The failure to inspect ICE trafficking facilities, standing aside and letting police abuse protestors, the gentle approach regarding January 6th, and more, all contributes to a disbelief in the Democrats.

Hopefully, local leadership will start appearing. I want to join a ICE Breaker militia. Without support, legal and morale, I might not find it in myself to do what must be done. 😰

Check your calendar—it’s not January 6, so the president doesn’t want you killing enforcement anymore.

(You might get a pass if they’re arresting people and as a result causing traffic for supporters to get to his parade or rally.)

“Killing cops is AWESOME but ONLY when you do it on your way to try to kill Mike Pence” -The President, obviously. Putin will also support that just like he complained about the death of Ashli Babbitt. (He actually did)

Absolutely. They should be afraid to get out of their van. They should be treated as if they are wearing a Nazi uniform.

[–] LeninOnAPrayer@lemm.ee 6 points 1 day ago

I get what you mean. But, materially, there is not much of a difference. You should absolutely do everything in your power to stop or resist them.

They are Nazis with a badge or Nazis without a badge. That badge doesn't change what should be done to them by anyone that sees them. They should not feel safe getting out of their van. There are more of us. Get organized and be ready to be that 2nd or 3rd or 4th random stranger that is brave enough to standup to them.

Nazi's aren't brave. They are wimpy little losers. That's why they are Nazis. Don't let them feel safe anywhere they go.

[–] uriel238@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 22 hours ago

The problem is, it's plausible they are ice, and in the US hoodlums gathering near a van before pulling a heist are rarer than unmarked ICE guys waiting to acquire a target, so if this isn't a movie set, they're most likely ICE.

[–] stebo02@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

are you implying anyone was making this assumption? any group of thugs could pretend to be ICE this way
