It's crazy seeing these people try to process reality.

Like I was at a friend's house who's into llms, and we were trying to figure some technical thing out, and on god I saw this man copy paste 2 short paragraphs into his gpt and ask it a question that the text already answered!!! But I guess he needed it spread out over twice as many words and a bullet point list.

Like wtffff you're not even going to read the official docs when it's directly answering your question?

I feel like I can see his brain shrinking in realtime. He's all but given up on doing his own thinking. He complains about feeling dumb, but like is it any wonder when you're attaching your reasoning to an llm like you're a male angler fish.
