I was with you until you said "Obama was the Trump of the Dem party"
I just saying mass adoption of the guy. Not policy of course. Hell they are talking about Obama vs Trump if he starts spitting 3rd term bullshit. So it makes sense that Obama would be looked at with the same gusto as Trump.
Now I believe that Dems would actually criticize Obama if he did stupid shit, unlike the MAGA of today with Trump.
You mean cult of personality, I guess. Well sure, Obama is looked up at, but not with the same ridiculous fervour as how Trumpers look at Trump.
Totally agree
