Arrogance is believing that for some reason despite everything that happened in the last year of her term in office that magically this person who had no concrete message or goals except the continuation of the genocide of people living in tents would be the savior somehow.
She's just another corporate politician who takes orders from donors and she's a COP at that - so keep constructing this fantastical image in your head that you think your choice was the answer. She wasn't and will never be. That's why we are stuck with Trump.

So, this conversation got me thinking. I’ve been wanting to get in better shape lately, but I’m wondering if doing things like… exercising, is really the right way to go about it.
It seems the best advice from all the people that clearly know how everything works, is to do absolutely nothing at all. Because historically, we all know that great change comes from inaction, right? So why not try it? Let’s see if sitting on my ass and watching other people exercise will help me become more fit.

Enjoying things so far? Think Kamala would have ended DEI? Put Elon in charge? The Insurrection Act. Think Kamala had that in mind? Or what about the tariffs? I don’t recall Kamala saying anything about that. Or Canada becoming the 51st state. All the shit trump has done….

I think Kamala and Trump both were going to continue sending billions of our tax dollars to a terrorist state in the Middle East so that they could continue obliterating families living in tents with 1000lb bombs.
I know that whatever is being allowed to happen there will come here eventually whether you want to believe it or not. Gaza is a test ground.
If you can't see how that state owns the politicians that are supposed to be representing you, I don't know what to tell you at this point. There is are really big internal problems and crisises that those billions of dollars could be spent at home on. Instead they both greenlight evil.
I can honestly say I voted against genocide and against foreign influence over our politicians. Those who voted for Trump and Kamala cannot.
Since the majority of voters felt that genocide was not a red line, maybe now is the time to evaluate what morals and values actually matter for us to thrive as a society and start living them. For example: I will never vote for a politician with ties to the genociders ever again. That is the only way out for all of us.
Imagine if most people chose the anti-genocide candidates. That would have been really cool and not this disappointing disaster that feels righteously karmic in so many ways.
