The exact time of creation is really no issue. If we're all sleeping good and it happens at 5am then whatever. A bot would be nice, but the last thing I coded was hunt the wumpus in the 90s.
I've heard some of us were working on a bot, I was going to but life got in the way.
Maybe we could ask brisbot lol
Not brisbot, I've got that sad bot blocked because it uses the same daily chat format as this one.
It's sad because barely anyone uses it ππ
It's got a worse life than Rick's butter passing bot. It should've been adjusted to a weekly post so there's a chance to get some convo going. Like the Perth weekly chat that's manually posted.
Maybe someday one of us will find the time and desire to do it. It really is less than a day's work for a single dev with a full CI/CD pipeline and executed on a cloud provider but well... ya know...
We just need that single dev with a free day...
If someone does get one running I can pass on Bot001's password and we can throw a welcome back party.
I was being facetious because the real unspoken issue is not building it, it's that it triggers at midnight and will require ongoing support. Someone will need to use a cloud account with a credit card attached to it, unless it's run on a homelab and if it's run on a homelab and that person disappears even if it's open sourced we're back to just having someone simply post the thread every day.
I'm not on here every day.
