Hmmm I started my role (first role!) in May and got a small pay bump as part of the annual remuneration review! About 6%. Didn't expect it but will gladly take it. Hopefully that means I'm doing something right

6% is a good pay rise! It matches CPI so means you are not going backwards. Many employers give pay rises less than CPI so to increase salary in real terms you would have to get promoted or move jobs.

I'm absolutely chuffed mate! It's my first role out of uni so I didn't really expect a pay rise till later!
