If you have who's your favourite character? I love this show and would be great to hear what others think, season 2 is coming out in October!
If you haven't seen it then please do yourself a favour and go watch it. It's a comedy about pirates and it is the gayest show I've seen in a long time! It's got Taika Waititi in it, what more do you need to know? If you liked What We Do In The Shadows then you'll like this.
My favourite is Blackbeard, he's so secretly wholesome and I hadn't realised how hot Taika Waititi is until I saw him in this!

He was a pirate for all of one year. That may sound short but Blackbeard, who we all know and likely think of as a successful pirate, was only a pirate captain for 2 years.
Surprisingly, season 2 airs in October. I would have though Zaslav had axed it. It is wonderfully bizarre and barely anyone has watched it.
I had no idea it was based on a true story! Did he call himself the Gentleman Pirate in real life? That would be perfect!
I'm surprised about a season 2 as well, it doesn't seem like many people have watched it. It's such a lovely depiction of two men falling in love though I'm hoping it'll pick up more interest with a season 2.
