"Do XYZ I'll wait" is always gonna sound snobby, even if it's just a joke 🤷🏾♂️ to be clear I'm completely on your side. Even if these were super common in one area or another, if you find it at least mildly interesting, it's in the right place. The opener to your comment just read as super defensive to me.
Hah I think I’d call it snarky instead of snobby then since my goal was to be snarky.
