day... 6? still coughing shit up. Woke up feeling amazing but within 10 seconds of being in the shower it starts again. Hit me with your home remedies. i'll even accept placebo ones at this point!

Worth a shot at this point!

[โ€“] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Yeah just look out for PURE HONEY. Manuka honey is even better.

[โ€“] TinyBreak@aussie.zone 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

cheers. I've just got mixed blossom but I took half a teaspoon so we will see if it helps!

[โ€“] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Does it say pure honey on it? If not you're eating a concocted sugar syrup.

[โ€“] TinyBreak@aussie.zone 3 points 3 months ago

it doesnt say. ingredients list it as honey 100% though. its just the cheap one from aldi.

I'm on day 10 with a blocked nose and my voice going in and out.

[โ€“] TinyBreak@aussie.zone 3 points 3 months ago (2 children)

good god! thats not fun. Blocked I could deal with, running and coughing up green shit is getting a bit tedious though.

I dont think so just cause toddler had a snotty nose for like 2 or 3 days then bounced back no worries.

[โ€“] Duenan@aussie.zone 2 points 3 months ago

I have to say mine isn't green, white to yellow so that's something but it's persistent which is annoying me.

Okay, the his sounds gross but my parents used to give this to me when sick.

milk, honey, butter (proper butter) and cloves. On the stove on low and mix. Drink warm.

[โ€“] TinyBreak@aussie.zone 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

sadly milk just kills me a the moment. Same reason I cant have a coffee, which isnt helping my mood a ton if im honest haha

[โ€“] MeanElevator@aussie.zone 2 points 3 months ago

Plant milk perhaps? Honey, butter and cloves probably did most of the heavy lifting in that partnership

dunno, not out of breath. Think its just a bad cold sadly.

[โ€“] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

the snot lasts about 2-3 weeks, then comes the coughing

[โ€“] TinyBreak@aussie.zone 1 points 3 months ago

yeah nah coughing joined the party day 3 or 4 sadly.
