You can learn to feel the hardness of the noodles through the spoon you use to stir them with, that's what I do. I can tell if noodles are done just by stirring them in the boiling water. Take a few out to eat to check them and you're done. Ezpz, no instructions needed.

Until you cook the one where your supposed to remove the water like yakisoba or jjajangmyon. :p

No? You check the noodles while they're still cooking and drain the water after. Do you cook dried noodles without water?

Some noodles are meant to be eaten in a broth, other not.
