Really bad end to the day even if it only lasted for 10-15 mins.
Not looking forward to seeing how the rest of the time goes until I go on break.
Hopefully the steps put in place for the future will prevent future altercations from occurring.
Nothing like dealing with someone who thinks the way to solve problems is to enact revenge and thinking thatβs the right way of doing things.
That's cos the game is not 'getting the work done', the game is 'being top dog'. I agree with melba that this goes nowhere good. Put on your own oxygen mask first. Good to know that steps are being taken.
EDIT: I'd put money on this person's work history being littered with similar situations.

Oh no, that sounds really miserable... hope this person pulls their head in soon. I hate it when one person can ruin your whole day. When will you be going on break?
On break from the 20th of Dec and hopefully wont have to deal with them after that forever.
Argh, still a while to go. Hang in there, it's good that at least you know you have a hard end date with this person

Maybe youβd like to take notes of/document/bcc every single thing you can and perhaps polish your resume just in case
I reported everything and some steps are being put in place.
Itβs not my safety that Iβm worried about but I do have to deal with the stubbornness and attitude which makes is very unpleasant to end the day.
I just meant if they try to undermine you or hassle you out of the job.
I know how you feel, fingers crossed it gets sorted
