Strange question, but I thought about, to build a PC only for my rig, and of course I dont wanna spend 3000€ on it so, 3090 or 4080 seems overkill to me.

Would be buying an used 2080 or 3060, or something similar from AMD enougth to run 90% of todays Sim Racing Games on High settings? Playing currently on 1920x1080

Will they struggel at 5120x1440 with an Neo G9 or LG Ultra Wide Screen?

Thanks for all answers😁

Hey guys!

I've done this in the past and loved the feedback.

I'm a professional coach working since 2019 and have over 2000 coaching sessions done in iRacing so far ranging all levels including pro drivers.

I preach about racing technique and would like to light up the culture of getting better rather than investing so many thousands of dollars in equipment. So here I am, let's see if we can find a few seconds per lap for some of you guys in this thread.

Ask me anything about racing technique!

Hey,

I just got my first ever racing/simracing rig a week ago (never had a sim setup before, tested it out at a friends house and loved it). CSL DD 8 Nm + CSL Pedale + F1 v2 esports for 680€ and I really like it so far but I'm still having a bit of buyers remorse.

I know this gets posted like every hour but I feel like there's just so much good stuff releasing. Moza KS wheel looks so nice and I really do like those type of wheels (a big fan of the F-Pro Cube Controls, I don't like any of the fanatec wheels to be honset) and then the Moza R12 aswell. But then at that price point for the Moza it's like 400€+ more and really close to that there's also the really nice looking Alpha Mini with the GT4 wheel. (200/300€~ more?)

I also feel like that fanatec is probably releasing a new DD soon since they're just trying to get as many CSL DD out of their way with the huge discount on it and maybe a new wheel too? No idea but that's just my guess.

I do have to say that I also don't have a real rig, currently playing on my desk which is really study since it's attached to a wall and doesn't wobble at all but I definitely want a good rig in the future.

I never had any Moza or Simagic gear but I just don't know if I should return it and get something else or just stick and use that money to save up for a rig and eventually upgrade a while later

Original Title: Hi! I'm currently running a G920, and im looking to get a Fanatec CSL DD. Is it a worthy upgrade to do? I mainly drift in AC, but play Rally games time to time. Feels like the Logitech is lacking in some of the harder use of the FFB. Thanks!

NASDAQ indicates today was the earnings announcement date (as required to be shared for any public company, and NASDAQ is quite strict about this).

But it was noticed on Twitter by Lstnscrfn...

This is just a few weeks after big news about NASCAR on console...

And to remind you for the last few quarterly reports Motorsport Games has reported each time...

As of April 30, 2023 the Company had approximately $4.9 million of available cash on hand. Based on the available cash on hand and the Company’s average monthly net cash burn of approximately $1.9 million, the Company does not believe it has sufficient liquidity to fund its operations for the remainder of 2023.

They did say this multiple times in 2022, but was able to continue to push forward. But as Insider Reports (Mike Straw) reported when Motorsport Network (their previous parent company) was sold, Motorsport Games was not part of the deal leaving them hanging solo.

Do you think this is the end for Motorsport Games? Did NASCAR pull out from Motorsport Games, even though ex-NASCAR CEO Brian France's investment firm Silver Falcon Capital was a major backer/investor in Motorsport Games? Will Le Mans Ultimate or IndyCar see their public release? What is the future of Studio 397 (rF2 and Le Mans Game devs) or Black Delta (KartKraft and Indycar devs) if the company folds?

I am in the market for my first sim racing setup but require the wheel to support paddles to map in throttle and brake as i have no use of my legs.

I’m working on a budget to achieve this, so a custom fanatec wheel or the F1 style wheels with the clutch paddles are a bit more than i would like to spend on a first setup.

Are any of the cheaper wheels modifiable? Such as the fanatec csl p1 v2. Is it possible to modify the shifter paddles to be analog?

The 5nm DD and csl wheel for around $300 seems a great deal.

Any advice or recommendations?
