It has two screens with and I can toggle between the inputs of my modded consoles (PS2, PS3, PS4, original Xbox, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii), my ThinkPad, and my desktop computer below my desk. When something is being displayed on my smaller screen it's passed through my PSVR processing unit so I can view whatever the output is in VR.

Everything is connected to a passive audio mixer.

My two computers are connected to a USB switch so that I can swap between the keyboard and mouse back and forth without relying on software.

I feel like it's pretty functional but I am wondering if it's a bit too cluttered.

Edit: The Xbox 360 Kinect can be used for its intended purpose but I can also plug it into my PC and use gestures for mouse movement.

I moved halfway across the US this summer. It's taken me a while to get my office/workshop put back together, but today I pretty much finished it.

A lot less cables and shit everywhere now that I switched out for a UE Boom.

Posted this to reddit some time back, reposting here because I want to contribute some content and help lemmy gain popularity.

I hope that in a few weeks I will be posting an updated version of the setup with the laptop replaced by a third monitor and a few other modifications.

Cybermonk floor setup in dark mode

100% remote WFH. I also record videos, audio, drink tea and meditate here. 100% Darkmode ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I mainly sit on the floor, and occasionally stand, thanks to a Limber desk which easily lowers from standing to floor height. It was not easy at first but has worked wonders on my back and hips over time, vs a chair.

Links to some of the gear and software I use, on my site.

Dad's getting older and they need help around the house. I moved into their basement and have this "counter / desk" setup.

Since Battle stations (like many other communities) are going read-only as they should, I felt like posting the battle station here instead. Really digging the technology behind Lemmy and the decentralized self-hostable nature of it all.
