I change my icons often when I want to update my phone theme, also often. Is there a good app that will let me change the design for all my apps that doaent require me to download each icon over and over each time I want to change the look?

Maybe something where I download them once, but then can batch update the app as I want? I have tried My Theme, but the packs don't have all the apps I use

Hi,

I just switched from i13 pro to z fold 5, and try to customize the phone as I wish. I'm missing one main thing that I had with my jailbroke iphone : stacking app icons.

For those who don't know, on iphone we add apex 2, and then zenith which did that (see here : ).The great thing about that, is to have less icons on the main screen, but be able to access them quickly. I used to group related app, like phone + messages + whatsapp, or camera + gallery + pixelmator, etc etc ... It was really handy.

I hate to hate a mess on my screen, and even if we have app tray in android, I'm wasting too much time to reach the app that I want, I need to fix that.

Do you guys have any idea of an app / launcher / mod that allows something like that ?

Thanks,Julien

Hi all,

Following everything that's going on with API and protests I decided not to abandon the community, but to relax the rules in order to make moderating this space a more straightforward process.

The list below are proposed rule changes. None of this is final and your feedback is needed. There's no rush to make changes, so there will be no rush.

  1. All posts TITLES must use a valid [TAG].

This one stays with no changes. Title tags are tied to automod config and it would disrupt everything too much to try and get rid of it. 2. Post your resources!

This one stays as well, but in a relaxed manner. Links wouldn't be required, only encouraged. A list of things used in a setup is still necessary. 3. No piracy.

This one stays for obvious reasons. 4. No low effort/low quality submissions.

This rule would be removed entirely. It would be up to the community to downvote what they don't like or deem unfit for this community. Obvious off-topic posts like... idk, stories about your day to day life would be removed, all posts still need to be about Android theming. 5. No posting .apks.

Really undecided about this one. Obvious malware is a concern, but there are legitimate cases where you might wanna share an apk with no ill intent. Like hishoot templates. Please share your thoughts about this one. 6. Don't spam.

This one stays and would capture unrelated, off-topic posts mentioned above. 7. Self promotion posts allowed once every Friday.

Here there would be some changes. The format would remain, self-promotion would only be allowed on Fridays, but the requirements could be decreased. Obvious app spam from one dev isn't ok. Promoting your app once a week should be enough. 8. No apple hate or flamewars.

This would be removed and combined with the next one. 9. No foul language.

This would stay and be combined with the previous one to make a new rule "Don't be an asshole". 10. No self-hosted giveaways.

This rule would be removed. If developers want to share promo codes in their [Promotion] posts, you guys should be able to enjoy them.

Those are my suggested changes to the rules. If you believe any rules should be added, changed, removed and I haven't touched on that, feel free to make this known, let's discuss that.

And remember, this is not a final list, but only a conversation starter on the topic.

Cheers.

Congratulations to u/mrjonn for winning the last contest with their Omashu setup. Your theme will be displayed in our banner throughout this month, and will be added to our Hall of Fame!

It's pride month y'all. Let's celebrate diversity and equality with our home screens, because why the hell not. The title of this post is serious - don't use anything straight on your home screen for this contest. Text in a straight line? Nope, do it diagonally, or in a wave. Apps in a straight row? No can do.

Ok, maybe not really. We want your home screen designs to still be pretty, and I'm fully aware that forcing everyone to have everything crooked will be a disaster. So try to take a creative approach to the "no straight lines" notion, but you will not be punished for having horizontally-aligned text. Let's just have fun.

These rules apply specifically to this month's contest:

  1. Your theme must have references to Pride Month in some way.
  2. Your theme is highly encouraged (but not required) to have as little straight lines as possible.

General contest rules:

  1. Your submission must be a separate post and tagged as [Contest].
  2. The theme must be your creation. No modifying/reusing existing theme files/presets.
  3. Your submission must be a newly made theme, you can't post something you've already shared someplace else.
  4. You must not collaborate or ask for feedback during the making of your setup. Your contest submission needs to be your own work only.
  5. You are allowed only one submission.
  6. You are expected to share all resources related to the submission, except those that you've made yourself, those are optional.

The winner will be announced around July 1st, 2023. The winning submission will be displayed in the subreddit banner for the duration of the next contest. It will also be added to our Hall of Fame.
