Now we are back in Saki's POV. It's great to see Kanon having fun and being social, but it is certainly a change for Saki. I think that it is an interesting idea to explore the dependence that builds up between somebody that takes on the role of a caretaker and the one being taken care of. Now that Saki isn't needed as much by Kanon, how does their relationship change?
I can't say I am a huge fan of Kanon's mom pushing for them to be living apart...like, what's the harm? Does she want Kanon to be more independent? If that is the case, it's already happening (as Saki is finding out). In any case, I do agree that there is a big difference between being roommates and just living very close to one another.
This specific point of terrorizing the boss? Nope. I just went and checked. They combined two story beats into one in episode 10. They had Alicia grinding in the dark-element dungeon (instead of just getting lost in it) with Yumiella's help and beating the boss over and over again. That is where they found the dark and light swords (and a wind spear for Patrick). However, the boss never really showed recognition of Yumiella or terror at her approach.
