No, do you think it somehow doesn't matter? It was pretty mixed before Kamala decided to become a Republican.

The only leopard that ate their face in the last 4 years is the Joe Biden administration. But yeah, whatever makes you feel better and justified to attack Arabs and call them dumb for not voting for your candidate. It's really almost like you're the leopard waiting to pounce and want people to suffer. If you didn't then you'd show people compassion, understanding and kindness, especially a group that neither party has cared about for a long time.

Yeah no you're a liar and that is your modus operandi to claim anyone you want to silence is an antisemite Nazi supporter. I said it is illegal in the United States to beat people until they defecate. You do not get to be the judge, jury & executioner. You can't claim to be against fascism while at the same time admitting you love the idea, just as long as it against people you don't like. That thread devolved into people planning with details about how they would commit crimes, including advocating for murdering people, and encouraging people to do it... Some dad said they might but doesn't want to go to jail, but who knows. Not sure why Lemmy is allowing people to promote and plan crime when it is against their ToS.

My hands are clean. I didn't support a genocide candidate. Any blood will be on the hands of the Kamala campaign for praising a war criminal and saying that she'd continue paying tax dollars to Israel to massacre innocent civilians.

No, it is your own ignorance as why you lost and while you'll lose again in 4 years unless you sort yourself out and observe what happened. We tried telling you... and it was always, "c'mon just support the genocide, it'll be worse if you don't." Then it drifted to... "Kamala and Joe don't help fund genocide, it is the Republicans that make them do it. Kamala is trying to protect the Palestinians from being mass murdered."

Not sure about others, but I was banned from a lot of communities for daring to speak of the inconvenient truths about Kamala. It could just be that the procensorship fascist left banned them all because they didn't fall in line with the establishment talking points.

I'm not missing, not a zombie... some people cope easier with losing by pretending that antigenocide users are bots. I'm still here though amused that the Cheney-loving genocide supporters that lost still think they are morally and intellectually superior.

So if the fascist are in charge does that mean you just give up? No resistance? No civil war? Just hand America over to the fascists?

You mean the Kamala bots that defended her praising the Cheney's? Yeah, they are not bots just establishment BlueAnon.

This is an unpopular opinion, and I get why – people crave a scapegoat. CrowdStrike undeniably pushed a faulty update demanding a low-level fix (booting into recovery). However, this incident lays bare the fragility of corporate IT, particularly for companies entrusted with vast amounts of sensitive personal information.

Robust disaster recovery plans, including automated processes to remotely reboot and remediate thousands of machines, aren't revolutionary. They're basic hygiene, especially when considering the potential consequences of a breach. Yet, this incident highlights a systemic failure across many organizations. While CrowdStrike erred, the real culprit is a culture of shortcuts and misplaced priorities within corporate IT.

Too often, companies throw millions at vendor contracts, lured by flashy promises and neglecting the due diligence necessary to ensure those solutions truly fit their needs. This is exacerbated by a corporate culture where CEOs, vice presidents, and managers are often more easily swayed by vendor kickbacks, gifts, and lavish trips than by investing in innovative ideas with measurable outcomes.

This misguided approach not only results in bloated IT budgets but also leaves companies vulnerable to precisely the kind of disruptions caused by the CrowdStrike incident. When decision-makers prioritize personal gain over the long-term health and security of their IT infrastructure, it's ultimately the customers and their data that suffer.

About a month ago I got a notification that my subscription had been refunded and then another email that my account was terminated:

You are receiving this email because we have identified suspicious activity on your account. In order to protect our platform, we have refunded and canceled your subscription. You will no longer have access to ChatGPT Plus service.

This was after using the service for two months. I emailed and sent them a message almost immediately since I could prove my identity, but they haven't responded back in almost a month. Their customer support appears to be non-existent.

I keep wanting to sign back up, but I'm still pissed about it. I'm guessing it is because I used a virtual card when I signed up and they don't stay active for very long so I have to create a new one for each month of service. Usually I just get a failed payment notification and update my payment info with a new one which pulls from my bank account.

It sucks not being able to use the service though because it was so helpful at helping with programming tasks and Bard isn't nearly as good. Has anyone had any luck getting through to support?
