There supposed to be his sentencing on 26th, but after he won I doubt it will be anything.

Edit: after looking more into it, looks like he is appealing that president elect has the same rights to do any crime as president based not on Constitution or any law but on the DOJ memo.

Author gave many reasons I saw on social media, especially the top ones she mentioned like economy concerns or that she is a communist which are the opposite of reality.

She concentrated on what people are saying instead of why.

We are living in a world where huge part of population abandoned traditional news such as TV, newspapers and is getting their vote about the world via social media through memes and influencers.

The biggest problem with it is that this unlike traditional media is open to foreign interference. We had report of American bloggers being paid by Kremlin ridiculous amount of money, we have evidence of bots being used to persuade public opinion, astroturfing groups on Facebook and other social media that were traced to Russia.

And we still did nothing to stop it.

Half of America lives in a different reality. And it isn't just America but those efforts are happening also in Europe and other Western countries.

If that threat is even an option to bluff, then unfortunately NATO will likely be going away no matter what :(

I so hope I'm wrong.

I'm Polish, I played it a while ago, but I don't think those chants were in Polish.

What actually happened? I know nothing about it except the name. Why it is considered dead by others?

Ryan is good explaining how military operates, how weapon works, but this is really about predicting what trump will do, and frankly this is much harder to do.

We talk about common sense, it is a non brainier, as helping Ukraine stop Russia is the most beneficial thing for the US and the West. As he pointed out, Ukraine losing likely will bring war to the rest of the Europe and Taiwan, but trump might not care.

What worries me is that so far trump never stood up against putin, he insulted many world leaders, but never did that to putin.

The reason likely is that he was almost bankrupt and putin help him get on his feet, he has a huge debt to him.

I also link to Anders Puck Nielsen https://youtu.be/gOwjmKMmkV4 he is generally more familiar with strategy and so far was on point in his comments (I also believe Ryan is watching him too). Again, we are trying to predict what trump will do, which is not as easy and his decisions seem to be more about what gives him immediate benefit.

The absolute worst scenario that could happen is that the NATO collapses. I hope that won't happen.

The argument was that Russia has no chance against Poland, because how it is doing on Ukraine.

But it won't be Russia vs Poland it will be Russia + Ukraine + (whatever else putin gets on the way).

He also won't have any problem sending Ukrainians to die fighting with Poles.

Foreign policy is important for too as it also affects US domestically.

Having said that, US president can do very little to stop the conflict if fascist like Netanyahu doesn't want to cooperate.

You're forgetting that if Russia takes Ukraine it can use their resources to continue fighting.

Nazis were weak when they attacked Czechoslovakia and then Poland.

So I ran Power Delete Suite as I periodically do. I have it configured to edit a comment and then delete it. It deletes comments that are older than 1 week old.

What was unusual was that within minutes I got the red envelope. And looking at it there was a response to a comment that I wrote 2 years ago.

So first thing is that as many were saying Reddit undeletes comments. I initially ignored that I saw some comments that I thought were deleted, but I assume it was because subreddits were locked and that's why they were invisible to Power Delete Suite, but this was on r/programming which was unlocked for quite some time (not sure if it ever was locked).

Second thing is the response within minutes.

So my 2 year old comment still exists and it's not showing up on my profile. I wouldn't even know about it is not for that response.

Of course this could be a coincidence, the account that responded to me is 9 years old, the content of it seems normal, although I saw comments on r/ChatGPT.

Though the timing bugs me off. If the comment is not from a real person maybe when Reddit restored it the AI code thought it was a new comment and responded to it.

Another thing that contributes to my suspicion of chatbots being deployed is that I noticed since the API protest and after they unlocked subreddits is that I get more upvotes and more responses than I used to.

Anyone observed something similar?
