Was having trouble understanding this so I translated it through a couple LLMs, it just cost me a few cubic meters of water:

I am very smart. I’d like to point out one thing. Everyone other than me is stupid. Herpa derpa derpa derp.

Oh for sure. It’s probably why I feel so unmoored in today’s culture (jk)

ok so couple stub sneers I thought of when reading this:

  1. One way to look at EA is as an extension of the middle-manager's syndrome of injecting metrics everywhere to allow them to spin up narratives of growth and improvement to justify their existence. I can't decide who I hate more!
  2. following on from 1, it's kind of funny that the EAs, who you could pattern match to a "high school nerd" stereotype, are intellectually beaten out by an analog of the "jock" stereotype of sports fans: fantasy league participants who understand the concept of "intangibles" that EAs apparently cannot grasp.
  3. it absolutely tracks that EAs, who see charities that spend money on administrating themselves as inefficient and incompetent, are dumbfounded and bereft of answers when any of their organisations implode

E: linking 1 and 3: together: EAs are self hating middle managers.

DYK about what happens when you boil a pot of crab-frog mutant hybrids of varying degrees of crab and frog nature? The hybrids with a higher frog-nature quotient (FQ) don't notice the pot's temperature increasing. The ones with low FQ notice and try to jump out of the pot, but those with high crab-nature quotient (CQ) grab them as they try to jump out of the pot, dooming the hybrids to a their boiled fate.

You exhibit both high CQ and FQ yet are dumber than either a crab or a frog. Curious!

Folks, huge W today. I was hanging out with my parents today and my mother was scrolling her feed, commenting out loud about everything she saw when she came across some autoplag content. “This is fake!” she said, and I could not be prouder. Not just because she IDed the slop, but because it meant she at least has a better brain than my trumper family members that habitually repost trumper slop.

Cherry on top: she showed me a text chain where she was trolling a “my phone died, this is my new number” scammer.

Just a general comment on the state of things. Now that Musk has fused with the ideological flesh chimera of the next US government and is tapping others to be absorbed, any US politics will be TechTakes-adjacent. Perhaps some ground rules must be set so we aren't drowned in non-procedurally generated slop.

Either way, I'm cutting back on the musk unless it is directly sneerable.

Just trying to be helpful! I'm definitely not trying to introduce you to this cult that was called out as a cult a few comments earlier! Which you would agree with me if you read all the things I posted and realised that we are the reasonablists.

How cute, look at that wild rat trying to appear neutral and unbiased and not-at-all a rat and Just Leaving This Here for you to read where “this” refers to the entire fucking canon of rationalist writings.

Have any of the trumps been on the red scare pod yet? Feel like that’s on the timeline.
