It doesn't even matter whether or not the Green party is technically able to win. As long as America has this first-past-the-post voting system, people will have to tactically vote for Democrats, because otherwise the Republicans will win. To stop the current duopoly, there needs to be an electoral reform first. It's probably nearly impossible to get that through but there's no other way.
tbf if you don't live in a swing state, your vote doesn't really matter either way

no. everyone should be able to make ends meet. it's not impossible.
My mom got fired from her job after 30 years of service (because the factory closed). She received a severance pay, paid out over 6 months, and told me she wouldn't be looking for a new job during that time because she'd have to pay double the taxes. I was like yeah but... you'd also be earning double the money?? I would understand that she wanted to take a break for a couple of months but if taxes were the reason, that just doesn't make sense.
