I like all the characters, but Tendi is my favorite ;)
startrekexplained
So I finally watched Lower Decks, well a good chunk of it anyway, and expected it to be horrific, but I surprisingly like it now. I don't absolutely love it, but I do like it. Especially Tendi
Thats why I like Star Trek 1 as an adult
I actually agree, while good, Star Trek 2 kinda seems overrated now on repeat viewings. I even like Star Trek 1 a bit more. Then again, my favorite of the films, First Contact, seems to be hated by a good chunk of the fanbase now so what do I know?
I actually like PIcard Season 3 more now on rewatches, but I kinda hate the fanbase surrounding the season because it's very toxic (and not because they dislike the New Trek shows, I mean the whole "its not woke" nonsense)
"I posed the question “when did Trek start consistently passing the Bechdel test”, thinking that it didn’t start happening until Voyager, which those hard-line TOS fans would never have allowed to be made (along with TNG and DS9)."
Which is why you don't listen to the angry parts of the fanbase for your input/feedback, or else you get really bad results.
Yeah Star Wars fandom is much worse, at least in my experience
Dark Mirror for sure
This is the only star trek community I post on because it has enough filters to keep out the racist and sexist toxicity crap
Well said. I actually think Prodigy, like SNW, has much stronger first seasons than the Berman Era shows, all of which were kinda weak in their first seasons and got better as they went on.
Yeah reminds me of Star_Trek on reddit...
Love the concept of a vac rifle :P
