Seems really excessive. The lemmy.zip admin does regular server performance posts and they're only sitting at ~140gb despite being much larger and image heavy. See HERE

No offense, but it's not very active here. I don't think anyone is going to take it personally if you have to pull the plug. The two largest communities can be recreated on a larger server(if they don't exist already). That's up to you chief, no judgement here.
XD
Also, I was under the impression that upvotes and downvotes were public per this and that instance owners could disable down votes.

Maintaining a good sleep schedule is fucking hard. No time lately for side projects due to crunch at work. Been wanting to try something in 1-bit pixel style once work calms down.
Looks awesome! Is the end result going to be 2D or 3D like your current model?
Small, lightweight, open source, a large active community, and honestly even gdscript has started to grow on me
I usually like to keep drawing streams on during the workday. My recent go-tos have been Romeck_Art and ChickenPres
Sorry! I really didn't mean for that to come off as rude as it sounded. I just meant, worst case scenario, if the server ends being a massive pain to manage/fund then you shouldn't feel obligated to keep it up. I wonder if the lemmy community has something similar to the mastodon admin discord group where you could maybe compare notes with other admins about storage/config issues.
