None. I use Premiumize with Plex for fast downloads and a Netflix style interface once I have the content. And IPTV if I want to watch movie channels

I use EPG dot best. They're an EPG provider who give you lots of detailed information about each channel and show/movie and nice clean logos and everything.
You can filter large EPG files from your IPTV provider into much smaller ones that only include the channels you actually watch. The smaller EPG file means that the app uses less RAM on my Nvidia Shield too
It's not free and it's kinda finicky to set up, with a weird workflow, but it works well once that's done
You can't stopp the plopp
If an app asks me to rate it, or checks what my rating is going to be before sending me to either a feedback form or Google Play, depending on my response, then it instantly gets a 1 star review
SmartTube is some of the greatest software ever made
I think all these other countries only care about the fact that India has a burgeoning middle class and is going to become the next consumption led market. Everyone has too much of their own stuff to deal with at the moment, but they love the idea of huge cohort of new customers over the coming decades, regardless of who's in charge
Not to take away from your post, which is nuanced and interesting. But I think the buck stops at the economics for most

Blood and Oil is a fascinating book about the rise of MBS. They literally had a guy on the inside in Twitter in California who would feed them back information like this. Definitely not a boring book, it reads like a thriller more often than not
Nut rice, gawd
Surely this is satire?
They're probably just leveraging the good will they have as the plucky underdog. I personally found the app clunky and that the videos loaded really slowly, but I don't blame them for offering a lifetime subscription.
Either that, or it's just price anchoring and they weren't expecting anyone to spend $300, but it made the other options look cheaper
