Most stuff has already been said, but I'll just add my 2 cents:

I/O is very important. I got a laptop with a pathetic amount of ports and I deeply regret it. Don't be like me

Having been across most of the UK, I can safely say that londons public transport is easily the best (kind of out of necessity as it's nigh impossible to get anywhere on time with a car, considering the amount of traffic).

That being said however, it's not like other cities fall far behind. The UK has really good bus & train networks outside of london, and given that other cities have FAR less traffic, the buses are actually usable.

You know, instead of going on a massive fucking rant, you could've just cleared up the confusion in the first place lol. It's not even a hard one to answer.

Its not really a big deal, but there could've been a nicer way of getting the point across

SearXNG is my go to. It's a search aggregator so you have to configure it to select your preferred search engines, but once everything is up and running, I've found it's results to be even higher quality than Google's

Depends on what you want. For games, find a trustworthy repacker (fitgirl and dodi are good in my experience) and only download from them. For software, again, it depends. For adobe products, M0nkrus is pretty good, but I'm unsure about other software. Movies and music are typically quite safe as long as you practice due diligence (basically dont open a file called song.mp3.exe).

Yes, a thunderbird flew over your head.

I'll see myself out now.
