The last time something like this was posted (by a less reputable source admittedly) I was hopeful and defensive. From what I've read since then, essentially, show me the battery.

It could be a great segue into current music, too!

I'm disappointed that this still exists, but sexism certainly still does so maybe I shouldn't be. I just took a class today on high conflict personalities; now I'm not sure how great this response would be but yesterday I would have thought it was great. Maybe some questions just don't need a response. I feel mixed.

Yo, thanks for the followup! Looks like a lot of fun for them, and for you to build. Thanks for sharing. It makes so much h sense now 😺

I wish the stations I can tune in to offered this, but they're all talk and no Tiny Desk. It really is a great show.

I don't think it's weird, a lot of water is pretty rough and what's out on the trail is generally going to better than city water in Mexico. I only got that water bc of a knee problem and didn't want to tank up coming out of a valley. It wasn't bad tasting but sure was green 💚 personally I think the water from wildlife feeders is actually gross. No bueno 👎

When do you start?

Congrats, have a great time! The only time (so far) I have had to get water from a stock pond was on the CDT in northern NM. Good times! I would recommend having a plan for food storage by the time you get to the Gila. I use a bear can but they're not for everyone.

This title is so misrepresentative that it borders on being a lie.

specify what device

I guess that would help haha. I'm a little confused on it. I bought it new in box from a carrier as a Motorola Moto X. It's a first gen. The phone says it is a Moto X in the info part of settings. However, when connected to a computer, it says XT1039, which seems to be a Moto G.

I plan to start with first gen Moto X.

It could be someone’s barely working proof of concept

This may be fine, the phone is old enough it no longer connects to networks (US CDMA phone...). I am primarily looking to use this as a learning experience before getting real with my current phone. I guess it will be my own proof of concept 🤔

Good luck, compiling Android is a major pain in the ass.

Ya, that is what it seems. I was trying to avoid that for my first time but maybe this won't be the phone to do it with. I'll look at XDA forums.

That is for the help 🙂

Ha. Chemical warfare was not yet on my mind at that time. But now I have Dead Kennedys stuck in my head

Does that wash off? And I always thought (arsenic) was a regional issue. I think from rice grown in SE Asia?
