  • Connery good
  • Lazenby awful
  • Moore good
  • Dalton bad
  • Brosnan good
  • ???
  • Craig good

I don’t really count Niven and I can’t explain the gap between Brosnan and Craig. Maybe it has something to do with switching on the superconducting supercollider. I’m also still disappointed Halle Berry as Jinx didn’t get a spin off movie.

I’d imagine this happens a lot more often than the OP’s scenario. Some complete garbage becomes “critical darling” for whatever reasons.

WHAS has an amazing cast. Hats off to whomever managed to get them all together.

LGX would make a good streaming series if the budget was generous.

Wild. I must really live in a bubble or something. Most Gen Xers I know were born in the 1970s and aren’t religious or Republican, and they actually vote. Maybe it’s because I don’t live in a rural area.

I do know a bunch of people born pre-1970 that probably voted Trump.

Yeah, I’d much rather see Taylor K make another appearance as Gambit.

“So many Republicans I speak with bring up reason why they support trump that are reasonable: Better economy, Protecting children, protecting rights, protecting jobs, reducing crime”

Except Trump has done none of these things. These people are lying to you, and probably to themselves.

It will end up being someone lousy. The Bond franchise is like Star Trek films. You get good bond/lousy bond/good bond cycles over and over. They’ll go for someone pretty, it will flop after one or two movies, and then they’ll hire a good actor again.

Didn’t someone else play Gambit in one of the first few modern Marvel movies? Or did I remember that wrong?

A work stoppage would probably work better than a march, but as someone else mentioned we can’t even get most people to vote. So things will just continue to go downhill unless people suddenly wake up to what’s going on around them.

If that was true then Obama would have lost and Nikki Haley would have been the Republican nominee.

This is just greenwashing the original plan to add another natural gas power plant. What a scam. “Oh it could eventually run on hydrogen too. In five years. Maybe?”

This project is such a waste of money.

Are there any good iOS apps for rating songs while they play in Plex on the TV? I can’t find a way to rate songs using an AppleTV and its remote.

I did try the Plex app on the phone, but you have to leave it as the frontmost app or it will disconnect by the next time you open it (app flushes/sleeps). If it doesn’t disconnect then instead you get a mismatch of what’s playing and what can be rated (album art/track name/rating pane don’t match). There’s also no widgets from the app to do this from on iOS.

Or is there a web app I can run on the server and connect to from the phone’s web browser to rate items as they play?

Finally got around to watching “Falcon and The Winter Soldier” and it would have been so much better if Isaiah Bradley’s story had been the first episode, or a stand-alone movie. Instead it’s just told in exposition. If you go read his backstory, it is a pillar of the F&WS plot. Disappointing that an interesting chapter of this universe is confusingly meted out in bits and pieces across episodes. Here’s hoping his “prequel” eventually gets told.

As an aside — am I really supposed to believe Falcon doesn’t get paid the big bucks and can’t afford to pay to fix up his sister’s boat?

Or shade.

I am also reminded of how CapMetro spent money to rip out the perfectly fine existing shelters and benches to replace them with the newer, flimsier ones.
