Yeah I think that’s where I stopped painting etc. I was overwhelmed with what was out there and now you’re “competing” with the world’s best. :-/

Ah sorry to hear you’re unwell. Hope you get better soon so you can get back into painting and sketching. :-)

I find the internet sucks the life out of my creative side. Overstimulation I guess.

Sadly enough I don’t paint anymore. I think it’s a mental block from 2011/2012. I don’t even look at art or go to exhibitions anymore. It’s sad, tried to get into art multiple times over the years, but it felt so forced. (Sorry for the delayed reply.)

Had to do painted studies on Freud’s works. Forgotten how powerful they are. I should have a hand at it again.

This is very cool, well done!!

PS: Does anybody know if there is a r/nosurf alternative on Lemmy? I've only found a /digitalminimalism and /dumbphones.

The perfect trinity needs to exist and unite! :-D

I've used multiple iPhones over the years, as well as Android, but I've moved to a Nokia 105 4G, with just calls and text. Can't be happier. My old 2020 SE is only switched on for banking 2FA and GPS, otherwise it's asleep in the cupboard.

Thank you for explaining. :-)

So that would mean that there are no 100% secure Lemmy apps, that do have 0auth or something to ensure that bad developers don't steal login information?

EDIT: Added second part

This moves me, despite it's simplicity. Maybe it's because of that.

Oh okay, so does that mean that Lemmy is less secure and more prone to outsiders stealing login info, than with Mastodon? I ask as 0auth seems to be quite important based on some of the comments.

Ah, write it off to my ignorance, still new to the Fediverse. Thanks for explaining, I just assumed that they would work the same, but also was wondering if it was an iOS thing, or a newer version of developing apps. As all the Lemmy apps are newer than the Mastodon apps, with the Rexxit influx. :-)

I also have a KaiOS phone, to have a dumb phone with Whatsapp. Did you come from the /r/dumbphones community too? ;-)

Thanks so much for explaining. But why is it that Mastodon has that 0auth on every app, and Lemmy doesn't? They both apps from the fediverse, just strange for them to be acting so differently.
