Fair. I think you can understand them as a group still, similarly to how you can see anonymous as a group.

I don't think I'm educated enough to say anything against the group as a whole, as I haven't sat down to do a lot of research on them (I'm realizing now that my comment was made from a BS bias that I had picked up from when I was a conservative).

however I don't think the logic of the source meme on it's own shows someone as fascist just because they oppose the antifa orginization.

Probably... I mean nothing stops you now. Assuming it's somewhat in the same field.

I know a guy who left retirement because he felt purposeless. The reason we likely hate work is because we have to do it.

If I knew I didn't have to worry about money, I would consider focusing on my tech career as it's something to do rather than worrying about how to keep a job. Maybe focus on charity maybe.

Definitely keep saving for retirement, last thing you need is to HAVE TO WORK for the rest of your life.

This was my issue. I had to reboot my machine and now Podman is working properly.

I installed podman using apt. It should come with the neccisary packages correct?

Podman Issues (pawb.social)

I'm currently trying to run distrobox with podman. I'm getting the following error: Resolved "debian" as an alias (/etc/containers/registries.conf.d/shortnames.conf) Trying to pull docker.io/library/debian:12... Getting image source signatures Copying blob 1b13d4e1a46e done
ERRO[0003] While applying layer: ApplyLayer stdout: stderr: potentially insufficient UIDs or GIDs available in user namespace (requested 0:42 for /etc/gshadow): Check Copying blob 1b13d4e1a46e done
Error: copying system image from manifest list: writing blob: adding layer with blob "sha256:1b13d4e1a46e5e969702ec92b7c787c1b6891bff7c21ad378ff6dbc9e751d5d4": ApplyLayer stdout: stderr: potentially insufficient UIDs or GIDs available in user namespace (requested 0:42 for /etc/gshadow): Check /etc/subuid and /etc/subgid if configured locally and run podman-system-migrate: lchown /etc/gshadow: invalid argument exit status 1

Does anyone know what should be my next steps to resolve this issue?

I think you're thinking a little to far into it. Not everything needs to be a deep statement about the injustices of the world.

I'm sorry, if steam said "We, the privately owned multi-million dollar gaming corporation, are now hosting a sale to honor the raped women of the Nanking Massacre"; I'm moving to Xbox, no question.

What's dystopian about this? Is this just a "capatilism bad" post or am I missing something?

[–] pifox@pawb.social 4 points 8 months ago

Kind of a shitty mix of both.
