You're misunderstanding the issue. The British tried to fix certain issues that really didn't need fixing. To their credit they did abolish a few insane practices, but the partition was never gonna be a good thing.

Most of my friends are people I know IRL. But we only get time to interact online. So we play video games for an hour or so. In that hour or two we don't really talk about our lives. We don't talk about the shitty things or the good things. We just play the game and have fun.

Here in India the situation is really fucked. People buy appartments with loans. Rent it out.. pay off the monthly loan payments with the rent income. It's literally free real estate for the rich.
