Good questions, I never thought of having rules.

On edit: After much thought, another question - if you buy a used puzzle and the previous owner separated all the edge pieces into a plastic bag, do you mix them back in to sort again, do you even sort at all? It is interesting to learn how others do it.

We use the Lavievert board and case - bought it on Amazon. The trays are nice but too small. We use cafeteria trays with fabric attached with double sided carpet tape. We have it about 2 years, starting to show signs of wear. There may be better products, hopefully others will comment.

Lavievert 1500 Pieces Jigsaw Puzzle Board, Portable Puzzle Case with 6 Sorting Trays, Puzzle Caddy Puzzle Storage Saver with Non-Slip Surface for Adults and Kids

You can get good puzzles at many stores, Amazon, Target, Barns & Noble etc. . Some of our favorite brands include Ravensburger, Springbok, Buffalo, White Mountain, Vermont Christmas Company, SunsOut. There are other brands, hopefully others will comment.

We also use a cheap, "Lifetime" brand 48 inch fold in half round portable table, it is not very sturdy but does hold everything we need.

Good Luck, looking forward to seeing some pictures of the completed puzzles.

Thanks for the suggestion, we did try making pieces the first time we had a missing piece, but decided we would rather do puzzles than fix them. Most puzzles we do are returned to the thrift shop or in the case there are too many missing pieces, we trash them.

I understand, we get most of our puzzles from a thrift shop called Goodwill (USA).

Thanks for the review, we never tried that brand, looking forward to seeing the finished puzzle. We have a lot of trouble with darker pictures.

I think this is the end of the line for this old puzzle, will not be returning it to Goodwill.

Interesting information. Maybe the guy ate too many apples and got sick.

You may be right and I do agree it is sad, but it has been a long time since we actually watched the Peanuts gang. We did have some of the Christmas specials on DVD and just watched the older shows.

Still no fix from Google Support, they do not send the transcripts I requested each time I contacted them, I did get an email to rate Google Support and I gave them a poor rating.

Wow, we spent a few days on this puzzle and I never thought about that.

Yesterday I tried Google Support yet again, same as before, he wanted me to reboot, remove and install everything including Google account again. After I refused to keep doing the same things over and over again he said he would elevate it to the next level of support and they would contact me via email. I am waiting for the email. It would be nice to be able to purchase the "remove ads" but I do not think that is going to happen any time soon.

It is going on 3 days, every android device registered to me continues to do the same thing, after several hours of removing and installing by direction of Google Support it is still the same. I suspect it has nothing to do with either the app or my devices, I strongly suspect it has to do with the Google payment system not clearing the request. As much as I would like to get it fixed, I really am tired of dealing with Google Support, they are pleasant but worthless.
