I like using third party launchers like Bottles since you can add a steam shortcut, and easily pass --unshare=network in the launch parameters when launching to disable Internet access to the cracked games.

Almost 2000 Steam game library, and I've been downloading stuff since ftp lists on IRC. A download is not a lost sale!

You usually have to reboot Steam when you add a shortcut in Bottles, for it to show up.

If you're using the Flatpak versions of things make sure you use Flatseal to give it access to the game locations, that might also be an issue.

It's as good as any other distro, in to say pretty good. There are some cracks that just refuse to work in Linux, but most are pretty easy to get going.
