A tentative, but close comfortable shave. The areas I poked with the Böker this morning are healing very nicely.
I have several 24mm knots that I like. We just get spoiled for choice with the larger knots. We Americans have a phrase for this that originated in the WWII era, "Smoke 'em if you got 'em". 😅

This was a shave test of my Böker 14er that I honed yesterday. The shave result was excellent, but the square point poked me a couple of times. It was the point and could not possibly have been my technique. ;-) That kind of behavior results in the death of pointy points. It will be muted and will speak no more.
The only badger knot I have that size I now use for talc. I was pretty set on 24mm as my max until I bought my 29mm Thäter. After that and the Wald 27mm I was spoiled.

Great scent by Shawn Maher. This made for an enjoyable second luxury shave. These Recovery Splashes are perfect for BBS November.
I use it when I have a little extra time and want to enjoy the extra finish that talc gives. Talc dries moisture but its effect is to leave a silky smooth feeling on the skin. This is especially nice if you have used an aftershave that leaves the skin shiny and a sticky.
