Python is dynamically strong typed, meaning you don't need to specify any types, but unlike JavaScript you can't just use a string where an int was expected. In that sense it's absolutely runtime enforced typing.

Proton is mostly just wine and esync has been replaced by fsync a while back. Ntsync is another even faster/better sync mechanism.
That's fair. For me none of the alternatives offer enough features to replace it. I often use it to highlight POIs of a type and all the different map views are great.
I wasn't aware it was having issues. Still mostly working fine on my end.
Guess I'll start checking out some desktop alternatives
