1 - Check the headphone jack

2 - Buy a decent screen protector

3 - Enjoy it

Optional > Use a cheap dock and a bluetooth controller (don't wast money on the original) x a great console experience from your tv. Also great for watch movies and youtube with adblock.

Got my hand on a free copy of dredge last week, so i'll play that for a while.

2024 was a bumper year for horror, not only on the silver screen but also in the gaming sphere. In fact, the genre has arguably never been in a healthier state than it has over the last twelve months; with a good mix of AAA successes, mid-budget sleeper hits, and plucky indies that punched well above their weight. When we could pry ourselves away from compulsive rounds of Balatro, we here at Bloody Disgusting even managed to play some of them!

With 2025 just around the corner, now is the perfect time to celebrate the true standouts. Of course, it was tough to whittle this list down to a top 10, and some favourites inevitably didn’t make the cut. Still, that’s a nice position for us to be in and is a testament to the incredible quality of those that did end up qualifying.

Starring in “The One-Way Ward” are veteran actress Jane Merrow as Matron Margaret (1st photo below), Megan Tremethick as Nurse Charlotte (2nd and 3rd photos), Jonathan Hansler as Professor Walker (above and 4th photo below) and Chris Capaldi as Dr. Richard Maitland (5th photo with Merrow). The movie is set for release in 2025.

Modern problems require homeless solutions

The definition of scary changes from person to person. For some, it might be ghosts and haunted houses. For others, serial killers. For still others, the most frightening things are the ones that go bump in the night, unseen.

Despite the width of this spectrum, what unites all lovers of horror is the thrill that horror novels inspire within us: that universal sensation of your heart thumping out of your chest, as cold sweat breaks on your forehead when you turn the page.

To create this list, we went to the darkest, most ghostly corners of the literary world. Without further ado, here are the 100 best horror novels of all time — it's safe to say that we hope they'll keep you up at night. Happy reading!

According to the Eltdown Shards, a Yekubian cube lands on a planet near the Milky Way Galaxy's rim about 2 trillion years ago. This may seem wrong since the universe is created in the Big Bang, around 13.8 billion years ago. According to some, Azathoth may be responsible for this. The Cthulhu mythos is a combination of many books written by many different authors aside from the great H.P Lovecraft himself. As by his wishes, he left the Cthulhu universe as an open book for competent writers to fill in the gaps and expand the franchise. This timeline is based on canonical books, like the timeline of the Cthulhu mythos, the challenge from beyond by Moore, where Yidhra walks by De Bill just to name a few. In this video, we shall only showcase the most important events in the timeline, especially the ones that date back millions or billions of years ago and which also is proposed to extent millions and billions of years in the future. Modern human interaction or birthdates are omitted as it will be too confusing taking into account the variety of books and works by many authors.

Plot twist #3, The Grim Reaper can't tell humans apart from one another (too much meat and muscles on their stupid faces). He just keeps telling the same old story to all the "small ones" he meets.

Can't speak for each author, but Richard Matheson, Shirley Jackson and Peter Straub are great suggestions.
