Hi everyone, Recently I noticed these little insects on one of my orchids. So far I tried getting rid of them by removing them manually followed by liberal application of soap water. Now they appeared on a second plant so apparently I was not successful.

Any tips?

Hallo zusammen, vor kurzem las ich während des Wartes in einem Wartezimmer, wie könnte es anders sein, eine veraltete Zeitschrift. Darin fand ich einen Artikel mit dem obigen Bild. Besonders stach mir der "Döp dödö döp"-Sticker ins Auge. Mir sind die "Ausländer raus - Deutschland den Deutschen"-Cover von Gigi d'Agostinos Hit natürlich nicht entgangen. Neu war mir nur, dass die AFD aktiv Kapital daraus schlägt.

Wiederum nicht neu an der Situation ist, dass sich solche Schwachmaten Sachen aneignen, da Faschismus als reaktionäre Ideologie nicht in der Lage ist Neues zu schaffen. Seien es Sonnenräder, Runen, Fraktur oder eben Musik. Von daher bin ich jetzt auch einfach mal reaktionär und eigne mir den Aufbau des Stickers an und verweise damit darauf, dass es in dem Song doch eigentlich um Liebe und Zusammenhalt geht:

Essenszeit. Es gibt unter anderem Pommes. Ich schüttele die Quetsch-mich-Plastikflasche meiner Lieblingssoße, um an den restlichen Inhalt zu kommen. Es kommt trotzdem nichts. Ich öffne die Flasche und stelle fest, dass noch ca. 10 % des Inhalts an unzugänglichen Stellen in der Flasche hängt. Mit dem schmalen Silikonschaber von Tupperware (RIP) bekomme ich noch etwas heraus. Ich denke darüber nach, warum wir Verpackungen kaufen, die zwar einfacher zu nutzen sind, aber durch die wir einen erheblichen Teil des Produkts verschwenden. Habe einen kleinen Anfall von existenzieller Verzweiflung im Angesicht unserer Wegwerfgesellschaft. Nehme mir vor, nur noch Soße in Gläsern zu kaufen.

I am currently working on a project which involves the pictured piece of driftwood. So far I have been cleaning the wood manually with sand paper, but this is quite slow and exhausting. What type of (preferably consumer grade) tools can I use to speed up the process?

recently, my brother asked me to print some tabletop miniatures for him on my Prusa MK4S. I know miniatures are most commonly printed with SLA printers, but I found some workable advice and so far my first attempts look decent enough.

However, I noticed most models I find are optimized for SLA printing or at least not optimal for printing with FDM due to difficult forms such as sloping and cavities that are hard to support. Also, I mainly print construction and replacement parts and would like to avoid swapping nozzles often. So I started researching SLA printers.

Owning a Prusa printer and liking it very much, I first looked at their SL1S and fell over backwards when I saw the price tag. Having owned an Ender 3 by Creality before, I checked their offers, which are a lot more budget friendly. However, on the other hand, having owned an Ender 3 I know that you get what you pay for: The bare minimum.

Therefore, my main question is: What is a good starter model for printing miniatures using SLA?

My follow-up question is regarding slicing software. I remember reading a couple of years back that SLA printers have no universal format like gcode and therefore slicing software compatibility is a bit of an issue. Is this still the case?

Hello everyone, I am looking for software to write music sheets and tabs. A friend and music teacher uses Guitar Pro, but it's a little pricey for my occasional use.

It doesn't have to be an all-in-one solution. So for example, if you know a piece of software that does just cord visualization that's also highly appreciated.
