Other than me being stupid, that is one well designed github repo, lol.

Is there any way to host 3 identical file servers in 3 different locations, and have clients automatically connect to whichever one is closest? in c/main@selfhosted.forum

Surely it's possible, but what is the advantage of selecting the closest one? Are your bulk file transfers heavily impacted by a few dozens of milliseconds of latency?
