When they first announced audiobooks I was so excited, only to realize I would have to buy individual books. Felt strange when the whole value proposition of Spotify is you don't have to buy every individual song you want to listen to. I guess sales of audiobooks were low enough they felt pressured to modify it somehow.
15 free hours a month is basically equivalent to audibles one book credit a month. Obviously I would prefer unlimited access to their whole audiobook library, but I feel like this is a decent compromise.
