Unrelated Greek word? Platonic here refers to the nature of Arthur and Lancelot's relationship. It's a platonic relationship, rather than romantic or sexual one.

OP said they were paraphrasing his comments, not quoting him; the word "final" doesn't appear in the linked article at all.

It's not "liberals" they're targeting with these sorts of tactics, per se, but poor and minority populations, who tend to vote blue out of self-defence. Of course, many of these laws are also applied unequally within states, such as the recent raids of Latino voter organizations in Texas.

True, but this example feels a lot less malicious than other "young generation" humor. It's mostly just poking fun at the stark contrast between the youth culture of now vs. the 1980's, rather than just denigrating the modern youth.
