He's got such a punchable face. But then again, they all do.

It's kind of a sad superpower, isn't it? Especially when you see people who have always been coddled living in luxury, start complaining.

Some of these people live in a surprisingly tiny bubble their entire lives. It's shocking if you ever meet and talk to one.

It's mildly possible she's just dumb, and thought they were only jello. She's a Texas mom. Some of these people live in a tiny bubble. She might be dumbfounded to find out jello shots usually contain alcohol. Just sayin'.

Otherwise, knowingly bringing alcohol to 5th graders...? I got nothin.

That's a different topic, although I agree with you.

I'm pointing out the undeniable surface detail, you owe money to the bank for 30 years. It's debt. Pretty simple.

I hate giving away free money to a landlord every month also. But when you get a mortgage you're giving away free money to a bank, in the from of interest.

There could even be an argument that landlords provide more of a service, in the form of upkeep and repairs. The bank provides no service, other then fronting cash.

Tomato tomato. I hate landlords and the mortgage industry both. But generally you're right it's much better for the individual to own due to equity and ownership.

The shitty thing for me and many people though is owning is semi-permanent. More of a hassle to sell and move. Landlords suck when they have year leases which also makes things harder if moving is necessary, but can be easier than owning. I try to only live in places that are month to month.

Call me a commie, I'll accept that label with pride, I think all things housing should be socialized and regulated as a public good. No more profit for banks, wall street, hedge funds, etc. And yes, that includes small time landlords. I don't know or care how it would be organized or work (it never will), but I hate our current system. People with more wealth are able to exploit and take advantage of people with less wealth. Full stop.

"Afford" = go into debt for 30 years.

Murdering people is not the answer.

You are stupid if you think that's what is implied here. Your way of thinking, is what allows fascism to take power.

Maybe an overexaggeration, but maybe not...

If fascism does play out, and eventually "they come for me" because I am among one of the most hated minorities in the world (atheist). I will be armed. My only goal will be to take out at least one of the cops before they inevitably kill me. I'm not dying in some el Salvador or Rwandan torture prison. I only hope I'm prepared and have the courage to pull the trigger if the time comes.

Get armed. Learn how to use it.

I'd be surprised if people couldn't put in a simple and cheap aftermarket deck and a couple speakers, which would only be around a couple hundo. If these things are easy to work on so you can install it yourself, even better.

Fucking FINALLY.

I've been waiting for a small pickup like the old 90s 4-banger Toyota. And this is electric, simple for function, and actually affordable?

Capitalists must be seething. If it doesnt have leather interior, 19 speaker surround sound, and cost 80k, get it out of our country! /s

This article doesn't deny American disinformation. Nor does it imply there is no American disinformation. What's your point?

Exactly. That's why I highlighted that portion.

~60% vs ~20% is a staggering difference. This really shows the much bigger problem of how conservatives gain power. They use the large masses of unintelligent, manipulative gullible people to get votes, and enrich themselves.

This is not freedom. This is not democracy. It's psychopaths, controlling and keeping people stupid, so they can stay in power and wealth.

Our system is so fucked.

Republicans were, though, more likely to believe Russian disinformation claims than their Democratic counterparts, with 57.6% falling for at least one Russian disinformation claim, compared with just 17.9% of Democrats and 29.5% of people who didn't identify with one particular party.
