Here's hoping his boneitus catches up with him
Worf
A big reason the BC government is against this is because it would take a significant amount of land out of the timber harvesting land base for both BC Timber Sales and other licensees, which in turn directly affects revenue sharing agreements with local First Nations.
If you see the BC Government oppose something like this, it’s almost always because there’s a First Nation somewhere who's losing money and doesn’t want their agreements messed with.
Probably worth mentioning that I work directly with such agreements and the decision makers who look at forestry and lands issues
I loved Bill Nye. When the tv cart got rolled into class I knew we were gonna have an amazing time.
I’m dealing with this too. I got banned from one sub by a whiny mod while trying to correct misinformation about the industry I work in, figured I’d just make a new account and move on. Didn’t realize how sophisticated their detection was and ended up getting permabanned. Even with a VPN and a new email using Brave I get new account banned in less than a day, I have no idea how they do it.
Really sucks since I participated in a lot of small hobby and support subs that I can’t replace anywhere else.
It’s 100% about precedent. They don’t want to acknowledge that they have a responsibility to compensate, especially since they’re fighting a legal battle with the government right now to try to prove that very point.
Make sure you cut it first if it’s not sliced, it’s a lot easier to deal with before you freeze it
Based on how GTA V went I think it’s fair to say that the team working on monetization is far bigger than the team making the single player content lol
I’ve had bread in the freezer for months, I throw it straight in the toaster and it comes out like, well… normal ass toast.
I’d be really curious to see how Trek is seen in bigwig offices. Do they see potential worth investing in, or do they see it as a dead franchise?
The NDP has been absolutely abysmal at advertising their platform. Many view them as a rotted-out crutch of the Liberals and the NDP seems to be just fine with that. It blows my mind in this landscape where Canadians are basically just asking for a rational leader.
