Glad I'm not the only one who read it like that 😂

Fair haha, I'm just used to seeing this type of comment elsewhere. Whenever it gets followed up, that's usually what it boils down to

If I had to guess, they're probably trying to argue, through some very convoluted logic, that muslims aren't real people and therefore no amount of dead Palestinians can be bad

Even from a completely cynical point of view, I'm amazed that there's been no serious attempt from within the Israeli state/establishment to remove him, by any means necessary.

Israel has spent most of its existence trying to build/maintain legitimacy among Western liberals, as well as internationally. They absolutely need this for their state to be a viable project in the long term.

This genocide and everything else about that man and his government has bulldozed right through that. It's basically impossible for any remotely normal person to be able to defend what's going on. I never thought I'd see the day when people like lifelong Tories I know IRL feel sympathy towards Palestinians and such disgust towards the stage of Israel.

Agreed. Of the supermarkets I go to, lidl make the weakest ones.

Bag for week would probably be more accurate but doesn't quite have the same ring to it 😂

I tend to really like Bethesda open world games but I only played Starfield for about 10 hours, when it launched. I think the moment I really gave up on it was the first big open-world mission of the main quest (the one with the icy planet, fragments and the temple thing at the end, can't really remember much else).

I found the large, procedurally generated terrains dull and traversing them on foot was incredibly tedious. Too much of the game felt like a chore to be an enjoyable experience. It was a shame, since a lot of work had clearly gone into the game and there definitely was the potential for something much better.

If they can get the feel and physics of the vehicles right + some decent mods from the community, I could easily see myself actually playing through this game a couple of times. Hopefully this is the start of a redemption arc for it

I feel like the thicker 'bags for life' are a bit of a false economy. I could be remembering wrong but with those, you need to use them something like either 12 or 20 times for them to work out as being less harmful than the old disposable plastic bags.

I try to avoid using them where possible but where I can, but when I have, I can't say I've been able to use them more than 5 or 6 times on average.

Agreed, it's such a no brainer and one where everyone wins.

I'm very sceptical of this new government and whether they'll actually do much (due to all the noises they're making about there being 'no money', and insistence on following all the Tories spending rules).

But I really hope they'll at least not be pushing the same anti-cycling culture-war BS of the last government.

Except the UK (and Belarus I guess). Imo OPs statement rings true for British politics as well
