I mostly included those two based on the funny logos I could find. The placement is mostly based on the vibes of apple users being closer to arch users. I only wanted to include two serious distros.

Based on what I've figured out as a non Linux user:

I agree, if by getting our shit together, you mean making strategically sound decisions. The Dem leadership has made so many poor calculations recently because they're so out of touch. Getting our act together would have required expanding into the low propensity voters instead of begging to the right. The Dems always had better policies, but suck at selling themselves because they play too safe.

The establishment are cowards who I don't trust at all to not fight progressives more than fascists. They'll agree to awful shit and bargain away our rights, something they've been doing already. Biden let trans healthcare falter for veterans, while the Harris campaign all but ignored us. They stayed quite against transphobic attacks when they used to stand strong; all because they wanted to appeal to never Trumpers.

We're only one example of their disdain for any change. They see us as expendable so long as they throw us bones, much like the all left wing interests. They'll need to be bold to win against fascism, so we need to demand more boldness than ever before. If corrupt governors like Newsom want a career, they better have genuine fear of assassination by Trump. They might do it, but only if they realize how conditional left wing support is.

I'm not gonna destroy shit. The Republicans will do that on their own, no matter what we do. We need support that isn't tied to electoral politics; decentralized and resilient. NGOs for healthcare, food, housing, protection from the state.

Eye for an eye makes everyone blind, yet it's better than sighted lords ruling over the blind. There will be need for forgiveness, but not now. Retaliation serves a purpose against those who will bully and steal. If the teacher down put the bully in their place, the kid must meaningfully fight back to end the abuse. No amount of groveling will ever stop fascism; only power and violence.

Nah, the rules aren't changing because we're throwing a tantrum. Trump is a fascist dictator who will make the legislature powerless. Again, you're living in a fantasy of stability. The entitled attitude of the liberal establishment is why Harris lost. They were expecting a free lunch; no radical policies in a system that needed it. People weren't smart enough to direct their anger, but still smart enough to know things were only getting worse.

I'm extremely insulted that you claim "we" failed the Democrats, when minoritized people like me from solid blue states never could've voted any harder. We couldn't have campaigned harder. We couldn't have tried harder. We were the only fucking people trying to make liberal democracy work, but the rich got tired of us. You're a genuine asshole for saying something so out of touch.

When the rule of law crumbles, I can only hope that you help those who need it more than you. I won't care less about saying I told you so. Just get with the program.

They stopped being able to achieve my political stances. That's why I'm done with them. I am a strong advocate of harm reduction, but the Democrats failed when Trump won. At a local level, it still matters, but at a national level, they're all irrelevant now.

I just recognize that the rules changed; you're still living in the past.

I don't want to be like Luigi, but only because it wouldn't play to my strengths. Him going to prison is the trade he made, but not really because it's what should happen. The law is so opposed to what should happen at this point, that the mob is more likely to make the right decision.

I have no animosity for Bernie, or even AOC, as they've normalized democratic socialism for the younger generations. This is a contribution that cannot be understated, as it held back the American left since the dawn of our labor movement. At the same time, Biden is uniquely responsible for Trump winning, while the rest of the Democrats are a barrel of mostly rotten apples. They need to be abandoned ASAP, at least in national politics.

Luigi is more of a hero than almost all Democrats, with fewer bad points and more personal sacrifice. Idolizing him also expands his act of terror against the rich, who have no winning move against it:

  • Act defensive and crack down on the left? Alienate the working class from Democrats.
  • Do nothing? Best option, but the leftist message faces little opposition.
  • Ally with Trump? He'll gladly accept, but they'll have less of a voice than with Democrats.

Liberal democracy was done for the moment Biden refused to step back after the midterms. It might've been done the moment he won the primary. Democrats refused to save it because of their corruption, and now class war is the best option forward. The alternative is a race war that starts with Latinos; an expansion of the culture war to its inevitable conclusion. The rich are responsible, so we must bring them down with the rest of us.

I'm also very gay :3
