Also cyclists. If there is a person behind traveling faster than you, Get over when it is safe and allow them to pass. If that's an inconvenience, you should have "left the house a few minutes earlier".

I've raced motorcycles 2 decades now and this is brought up in every safety meeting. If the rider behind you is faster, let them pass, regardless of how important you think your run is. It's safer for everybody.

Thought of going with a shirt only at work and I could not made a worse choice. I will have to look for a new job soon.

May should have went with a shirt and pants :)

ADL is including pro-Palestine protests in count of "antisemitic" incidents

I can't find that anywhere in the article. Why use that for a title? The article states ADL is including 'rallies that feature “anti-Zionist chants and slogans",'. Which is understandable; That's their job. But pro-Palestinian isn't inherently anti-Zionist and conflating the two is disingenuous.

Brass brush on a drill would probably melt into plastic fast. But a handheld one would work ok, or steel if you need more persuasion and aren't worried about scratches.

What's under the caulk? If it's ceramic tile, you can probably get away with a brass cup brush in a drill. Test in an inconspicuous area first obviously, but it should be less likely to scuff up the surface as something like scotchbrite.

Worked well for me. Altho I'm just a small example. I run a mechanic shop where pay is directly tied to productivity, not time. About 6 months ago as an experiment, I started giving the techs off on fridays, making it mon-thurs. Turns out overall productivity didn't change; they got more done per day on the 4 day work week. So it ended up being an extra day off with no change in pay. They're happy with the longer weekend, and I'm happy with a day of peace and quiet to get paperwork done. I don't plan on changing it back anytime soon.

I can't believe people were buying into their "franchise". They approached me in 2020 when they were trying to expand into the town I live and I had a downtown warehouse to operate out of. After they got done explaining everything, I laughed until they hung up.

You had to buy the scooters from them at around $600 each, you were responsible for all the recovery/batteries/maintenance/damage/theft caused by customers, warranty was non-existent ("call our chinese supplier and they will totally hook you up"), and after that they took 20% off the top. Some quick math put it at over 6 months before each scooter became profitable IF nothing happened to it in that time. Someone throws it in the canal just to be a dick? Sucks to be you, you're out $600 + whatever else you've put into it every time it happens.

Really came off to me that they were making their money selling to suckers who thought they were going to be entrepreneurs.

Edit: They did apparently did get someone here into it because I saw them around for a few months before disappearing completely.

One state has strict gun lock/storage laws (Mass), a few others have laws requiring you to keep them away from minors and prohibited persons, but the majority do not. I'm guilty of haphazardly tossing mine in the nightstand. But I'm also the only human allowed in the house, not too worried about the cats getting ahold of one.

Monday, 8:17 p.m. EST in case anyone is wandering. Couldn't find it in the article.

After referencing actress-comedienne and Trump supporter Roseanne Barr earlier in the interview, Grammer was asked by host Justin Webb if he was still a supporter of the former president.

“I am,” Grammer said. “And I’ll let that be the end of it.”

🤮

Looking at what Ozzys put out in the last few years; I would have sworn his singing was already AI-generated. And Sharon's just puppeting him around à la Weekend at Bernies.

Just as an update, everything went swimmingly. He came back from the vet neutered, vaxed, and a clean bill of health. Awesome pal to have at work. Doesn't mind noises (air tools, loud engines), or water (loves wading around in puddles; that's odd but cute), and has never met a stranger; customers love him.

This is Mo. He wandered into my work last month and just stuck around. He needs flea meds, shots, and to get fixed but I'm not sure how old he is. I'd ask the vet but it's a 2-3 week wait to get in; I don't want to finally get an appointment and then have him be too young or something.

I'm guessing 4ish months? Looks like a Holstein. Thanks for your help.

Any other Motorola phone users get this notification pop-up? I found a post on the forum that shall not be named and it seems like a worldwide Motorola glitch but no official word yet.

Just wanted to repost here in case anyone else was weirded out by what Ricardo is doing on your phone.

If I check any of those selections, click save, and then refresh the page, they are unchecked again. But all the other settings retain their status.

I have a laptop with obsolete, licensed diagnostic software that I use on old equipment still in service. I've kept it alive longer than it should have been, but it's only a matter time before a disk or mobo failure puts me in a bad spot.

I'd like to make a clone of the current OS (Windows 10) as-is that could be run in VirtualBox or some other VM as a backup. Is it as simple as making a disk image with DD and then loading that up in VirtualBox? I'm sure it's not, but what am I overlooking? Or what other software would be better to use?

I'm fairly computer literate, but a mechanic by trade; So, not an expert.

Thanks for any help.
