Yes, they very much have been. Last season was the biggest hick-up they suffered in about a decade. And they recovered and still won the league.

That's pretty solid, considering it's only like the 5th popular sport or so.
Yeah, the hope is gone. Time for acceptance. We're shit. That's the status quo. We just can't play better. We'll have to wait for a whole new generation of players who hopefully are better educated tactically.

That's just Pep ball. Wasn't different at Barca and Bayern. The forcing of fouls, the diving, working the ref, the tactical fouls. They teach all that shit particularly well.
